You present your client with a portal and a small, free Application  to download.
Your client drags & drops his file(s) onto this small application.
Before the file is automatically transferred to you, it will be
pre-flighted (checked for printability - usability) according to your standards,
right at the clients’ Desktop Errors affecting usability are listed in detail and the file(s) are not transferred. Your client can easily make corrections and pre-flight using the same small application again

Before large files are transferred, they are pre-flighted at the clients desktop for missing images, missing fonts, inappropriate picture resolution or color space as well as many other parameters deemed  important to your output standards. Because the proofing as well as the correcting occurs at the client’s desktop, there is a greater chance that the files transferred to your site are virtually error free.

Each FlightCheck Online appliation has an unique target address embedded. The Flightcheck Online Server (your server) is a dynamic website which communicates via browser with your client. The Print Job or output files being sent, are dropped onto the FlighCheck Online client and five functions are performed in the background:

1. Collection of information for the document (Job-Ticket). After the document has been dropped onto the FlightCheck Online client, an Internet page opens which reveals information about the Document (Print-job)
2. Collection: An attempt will be made to collect all of the necessary, fonts, images which are being used in the document.
3. Pre-Flighting: Prior to sending the document FlightCheck Online checks it for errors. What constitutes an error, has already been defined by the recipient of the final corrected files. (ie: RGB images)
4. Compression: When the document is error free, it and it’s component will be compressed together as one file.
5. Transfer: FlightCheck Online transfers the compressed file via FTP to an FTP Server at the recipients location.
